On your mark! Get set! Go!!! It's a race! Azimuts Inside/Outside Games is an innovative manual which encourages students to read and write. When the students arrive in the classroom, they are given a list of questions to answer. The answers to the questions are found on little pieces of paper posted around the classroom. At the teacher's signal, the students begin to circulate around the classroom in search of the answers. They have to be efficient, because the first person to find all the answers and sit down is usually ( but not always! ) the winner. There are Inside/Outside Games activities for both cycle two and cycle three students. All of the 29 activities found in this 60 page manual help students to practice using eight question words:

Who What Where When Why Which Whose How

Suggestions

1. Students can work in teams of two or three.

2. These activities can be done in a hallway, a gymnasium or even outside in the school yard.
